This arrived in the email on April Fools Day, 2000Hello family and friends!It is with great joy and surprise that we announce to those of you that don't already know, the sudden arrival of the latest Hooker. Ian Elkin Hooker was first brought to our attention about 100 minutes before he was born on Monday, March 27th at 9:06 AM. We deliberated for a full 30 seconds before saying an enthusiastic "Yes!" to the hospital. We met him and brought him home with us on Tuesday afternoon. It's been a whirlwind to say the least, but not too difficult an adjustment so far. He was born 7lbs 8oz with brown hair. Alec seems to like him just fine. He wants to get close to him and pat Ian gently. Love to all of you, Eric, Elaine, Alec and Ian
